Now get the improved accuracy of WAAS-enabled GPS positioning when you connect the new Earthmate GPS directly to your USB laptop or handheld computer. See your position updated in real-time as you track using Street Atlas USA 2004 maps or other DeLorme software.

At the heart of the new Earthmate is the SiRFstar IIe low-power chipset, with cold-start times of less than 45 seconds and special technology providing improved GPS tracking in weak signal conditions. This chip set requires 75% less power to operate than comparable chips.

Many customers have reported start-up times under 5 seconds! Now you can access the type of premium performance GPS tracking found in high-end systems at new low price points.

Earthmate GPS includes a built-in LED that transitions through the various satellite acquisition modes: red for searching, yellow for two satellites in view, and green for at least three satellites in view. Earthmate GPS is a 12-channel NMEA-compliant receiver.
